This website (getpestcontrol.services) is a pest control service booking platform operated by PestBooker LLC, located at 8690 Aero Dr, Ste 115 #1076, San Diego, CA 92123. We provide an online scheduling tool that connects homeowners with local pest control service providers.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our booking platform to schedule pest control services.

2. Information We Collect

When you use our booking platform to schedule a pest control service, we collect the following information:

  • Contact Information: Your name, phone number, and email address
  • Service Address: The address where pest control service will be provided
  • Service Details: The type of pest issue and service preferences you select
  • Payment Information: Credit or debit card details for service payment (processed securely by our payment processor)
  • Booking Activity: Information about your booking progress, including whether a booking was started but not completed

We may also automatically collect technical information such as your browser type, device type, IP address, and pages visited to improve our platform and troubleshoot issues.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and schedule your pest control service appointment
  • Share your booking details with the pest control service provider you selected
  • Process your payment for services
  • Send you appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates via email and SMS
  • Send you SMS reminders if you start but do not complete your booking (abandoned cart reminders — see Section 5 below)
  • Respond to your questions or support requests
  • Improve and maintain our booking platform

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • Pest Control Service Providers: We share your contact and service details with the pest control company you are booking with so they can provide the requested service.
  • Payment Processor: Your payment information is securely transmitted to our third-party payment processor to complete your transaction. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services for SMS messaging (Twilio), email notifications (Resend), and analytics to operate our platform.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Mobile information collected during the booking process will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. SMS Messaging & Consent

By entering your phone number during the booking process, you consent to receive the following types of SMS messages from us:

  • Abandoned Booking Reminders: If you begin but do not complete your pest control booking, we may send you up to three SMS reminders (at 30 minutes, 24 hours, and 72 hours after you leave the booking process) to help you complete your scheduling.
  • Appointment Notifications: Confirmations, reminders, and updates related to your scheduled pest control service.

Message frequency: You may receive up to 5 messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also text HELP for assistance. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further SMS messages from us.

No sharing of mobile information: We will never sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely for the booking and appointment communication purposes described in this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services you requested and to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Specifically:

  • Completed Bookings: Your booking and contact information is retained by the pest control service provider for ongoing service management.
  • Incomplete Bookings: If you do not complete a booking, your information is retained for up to 30 days and then automatically deleted.
  • Payment Data: Payment information is handled by our payment processor according to their retention policies. We do not store full payment card details.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure payment processing through PCI-compliant third-party processors, and access controls on our systems. While no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
